Chase Advisors at World Circular Economy Forum 2026 (Two Accelerator Sessions for the Main Event)

The World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF) is a leading global platform that convenes policy makers, industry leaders, multilateral organisations, and thought leaders from around the world to accelerate the transition towards a circular economy through dialogue, collaboration, and action. In its tenth edition, WCEF will position India at the forefront of scalable circular economy solutions for a resource-constrained world. Building on the direction set by previous forums, WCEF2026 serves as a platform for accelerating market transformation, demonstrating how circular solutions reshape value chains, strategies and competitive advantage at scale.
Chase Advisors is proud to shape this global dialogue, having organised two official side events ahead of the Forum and set to convene two Accelerator Sessions during WCEF2026, driving meaningful conversations on advancing circular economy solutions and policy action.
A. WCEF2026 accelerator session: Traceability & Material Transparency: From Promise to Practice
This event/webinar is an accelerator session at the World Circular Economy Forum 2026 (wcef2026.com). On social media, you can follow the event with #WCEF2026. Traceability is increasingly critical to building credible and circular value chains, yet fragmented systems, data gaps, informal material flows and high implementation costs continue to limit its scale. Chase Advisors, in partnership with TERI - The Energy and Resources Institute, will convene this session to explore how technology, policy, market incentives and interoperable standards can make traceability practical, scalable and inclusive. The discussion will focus on strengthening material transparency, integrating informal actors into traceable value chains, improving data integrity, supporting stronger EPR implementation and deepening secondary material markets, while moving beyond fragmented pilots and proof-of-concepts towards system-wide traceability across circular value chains.
Key Details:
- Date: 17th September 2026
- Time: 09:00 AM - 11:00 AM

B. WCEF2026 accelerator session: Policy that Scales Circularity: What to Fix First
This event/webinar is an accelerator session at the World Circular Economy Forum 2026 (wcef2026.com). On social media, you can follow the event with #WCEF2026. India is at a critical juncture in its circular economy journey, with the focus shifting from policy design to effective implementation across diverse and fragmented value chains. Chase Advisors, in partnership with the International Council for Circular Economy (ICCE), will convene a session exploring how policy, markets, institutions, technology and traceability can work together to scale circularity. The discussion will focus on strengthening demand for secondary materials, improving institutional coordination and enforcement, enabling better data and traceability, integrating informal actors, and strengthening EPR implementation. The session will examine how to move beyond fragmented interventions and pilots towards coordinated, system-wide implementation that delivers measurable circular economy outcomes.

C. WCEF Side Event 1: Jobs, Skills, and the Circular Economy Workforce: Managing Transitions at Scale

20 August 2026
As India moves from circular economy ambition to implementation, the transition towards reuse, repair, remanufacturing, recycling and reverse logistics is creating new workforce requirements. Building a future-ready workforce with the right skills, pathway sand opportunities will therefore be critical to enabling circularity at scale.
Against this backdrop, Chase Advisors, in partnership with the International Council for Circular Economy (ICCE), convened a session at the India Circular Economy Forum (ICEF) 2026, an official side event of the World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF) 2026, to examine the jobs and skills dimensions of India’s circular economy transition.
The panel brought together experts from industry, research, recycling and skilling ecosystems, including Monika Shrivastava, Head of Sustainability, JSW; Amit Tripathi, IIHS Centre for Materials and Sustainable Development; Pranshu Singhal, CEO, Karo Sambhav; Ulhas Parlikar, Director, Material Recycling Association of India; Souvik Bhattacharjya, Director & Senior Fellow, TERI; and Dr. Swapna Mishra, CEO, Textile Sector Skill Council. The discussion was moderated by Kaushal Mahan, Managing Principal, Chase Advisors.
The discussion highlighted the need to build future-ready talent through stronger integration of circular economy principles across education, create pathways for reskilling and upskilling workers, strengthen the role of informal workers, embed circularity at the design stage, and create supportive policy, market and manufacturing ecosystems to enable an inclusive and scalable circular economy transition.
D. WCEF Official Side Event 2: Panel Discussion on ‘Critical Minerals at Scale: Securing Supply and Closing Loops’

13 May 2026
As countries accelerate their transition to a low‑carbon and resource‑efficient economy, securing access to critical minerals has emerged as a strategic priority globally. Within this context, circular economy approaches including recycling, urban mining, and circular product design are increasingly being recognized as essential to reducing import dependencies, strengthening supply chain resilience, and supporting net‑zero ambitions.
Against this backdrop, Chase Advisors, in partnership with The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), convened an official side event at the World Circular Economy Forum(WCEF) 2026, one of the world’s leading platforms advancing circular economy solutions, hosted in India this year, to examine how circularity can be operationalized as a core pillar of India’s critical minerals strategy.
The session featured a thematic address by Smt. Leena Nandan, IAS (Retd.), Distinguished Fellow at TERI, and a chief guest address by Shri Anshoo Pandey, Director at the Ministry of Mines, who anchored the discussion in India’s evolving policy landscape. This was followed by opening remarks from Kaushal Mahan, Senior Vice President, Chase Advisors, who highlighted the growing strategic importance of critical minerals in global trade and economic partnerships. The panel discussion brought together leading experts from across policy, industry, and research, including Dr. Sandip Chatterjee (Senior Advisor, Sustainable Electronics Recycling International (SERI), USA; Adjunct Professor, IIT Mandi),Dr. Pankaj Satija (Executive Vice President, JSW), Dr. Abhinav Mathur (Advisor to the Board, Attero Recycling), Dr. Nidhi Srivastava (Head – Research and Strategy, Dravya, IIHS Centre for Materials and Sustainable Development), Priti Shukla (Portfolio Manager, Critical Raw Materials, Energiva Ventures), and Souvik Bhattacharjya (Director and Senior Fellow, TERI), who was also the moderator for the session.
The discussion reflected a broader shift from pilot-led experimentation to system-level, market-driven scale-up, anchored in coordinated policy and investment frameworks. To ensure the dialogue was grounded in ecosystem realities, a pre-event stakeholder survey was conducted, with insights and recommendations from the event being consolidated into a post-event summary.
